HRLF Member-Referral Policy

One of the most meaningful levers we can pull in an effort to grow our membership is to invite guests* recommended by Board members or general members to attend HRLF-SNE sessions throughout the year.

HRLF Board Members will determine when an individual will participate in a HRLF program free of charge. Paid HRLF members may request a “member-referral” invitation through a Board member to help broaden our collective professional network and actively participate in the growth of HRLF-SNE. The Board will approve invitations with the hope that guests will then convert into paid HRLF members.

General guidelines when inviting a member-referral

A guest* is someone who:

  • Brings relevant experience as a senior-level HR professional
  • s a viable candidate for becoming a paid member of HRLF-SNE

A guest* is NOT:

  • A former member within the last year (we’d love to have them back, so encourage them to renew!)
  • Someone who has attended a session in the current year (either as your guest or someone else’s)
  • A friend/colleague who is in transition and wants to network for a new job
