HRLF Presents - Mindfulness at Work:

Implementing Programs that Enhance Wellness and Build Organizational Effectiveness

Mindfulness has recently been described as a panacea for all ills, including organizational engagement, innovation and success. What is true versus misconception? Join our expert panel on October 25, for a real world discussion on the myths, benefits and best practices of introducing mindfulness programming into organizations. Attendees will participate in mindfulness practices and our panel will address these important questions and more:

  • What is the value of mindfulness in organizations?
  • How do I evaluate the readiness of my organization?
  • What model might fit?
  • What are my next steps to further research this, and how do I select a program or provider?

 About the Panel

Tara Healey
 is the Founder and Program Director for Mindfulness-Based Learning at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. She is a recognized leader in bringing mindfulness training to a wide variety of companies and healthcare systems. Tara holds an M.Ed. in Health Education from Springfield College. (Full Bio)

Gina LaRoche
 is a Co-Founder and Organizational Leadership Consultant, Facilitator and Leadership Coach at Seven Stones Leadership Group specializing in high impact, transformative interventions with individuals and teams. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. (Full Bio)



Andy Lee serves as Aetna’s Chief Mindfulness Officer. He holds an MA in organizational psychology from Columbia University and an MA/ABD in industrial/organizational psychology from New York University. (Full Bio)


Christopher Lyddy
 is an Assistant Professor of Management at Providence College in Providence, RI. He researches the integration and impacts of mindfulness at work, and holds degrees from MIT, the University of Michigan, and Case Western Reserve University. (Full Bio)

Jackie Johnson, PCC is a Professional Certified Coach and Principal of Choice Coaching and Consulting, LLC. She has over twenty years-experience helping individuals positively transform their organizations and their lives by cultivating mindful awareness and action. Jackie serves as a mindfulness instructor, affiliated with Copper Beech Institute and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care’s Mind the Moment Program. A longtime practitioner of mindfulness meditation, Jackie has deep personal retreat experience and has completed teacher training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) at the UMass Center for Mindfulness.

Jill Berquist, PCC is President of Berquist Coaching Services, LLC and is a certified leadership and executive coach across various industries. She engages as a coach, advisor and thinking partner to leaders who want to make a greater impact, engage better with their peers, and powerfully lead their teams. Jill’s coaching model includes a foundation of stress, energy and emotion management.  Jill is a master certified facilitator in the neuroscience-based Oasis in the Overwhelm techniques and in 2009, co-authored the Oasis 28-Day Guide, Rewire Your Brain from Chaos to Calm.
